Lip fillers contain hyaluronic acid which are a naturally found substance in the body.
Do lip fillers hurt?
The injection will feel like a pinch. If you experience too much discomfort we can apply numbing cream.
How long does it take?
The duration of for lip fillers is around 20-30 minutes.
Can I drink or smoke after treatment?
We would advise that you refrain from this activity for 24-48 hours.
Can I have fillers while pregnant?
Lip fillers have not been fully tested on pregnant women so we would advise against this.

How long does lip filler swelling last?
Some patients experience slight redness around the lips immediately post-treatment, which generally resolves within 24-48 hours. There is often significant swelling the next day. This can take a week to settle.

The final result is present after two weeks and it lasts six to nine months.

Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are naturally dissolved by your body over a period of 6 – 18 months as a result of your body’s metabolism.
How long after lip fillers can I wear lipstick?
If patients would like to put on skin makeup products post-treatment, this is acceptable, but if possible, our doctor recommends avoiding makeup afterward on the day of treatment for a period of 4-6 hours.
